Software upgrades, new carriers, operational investments, and strategic partnerships. Everything Mountainy has built and launched in 2026, in one place.

Software & Tech

Better software, richer data, and workflows built to move as fast as you do.

NEW

Carrier Claims Portal & Slack Workflow

File claims in Slack. Track every dollar recovered in the portal.

File carrier claims directly in Slack through our custom Slack App and view your full claim history in the Mountainy Claims Portal — with 100% of recovered funds paid back directly to your brand.

Carrier claims are one of the most overlooked revenue recovery opportunities in e-commerce fulfillment. Lost packages, damaged shipments, and mis delivered packages all qualify for reimbursement. We built a Slack workflow that gives brands the ability to file claims on their own - with complete visibility over the entire process.

Every claim — open, approved, denied, or pending payment — is tracked in the Mountainy Claims Portal, giving you a real-time dashboard of your recovery pipeline. You can see total claims filed, amounts recovered, and which carriers have the highest approval rates across your shipment history. And because we believe this money belongs to you, 100% of every won claim is credited directly back to your brand.

NEW

Order Hold Resolution

Automated hold detection, resolution, and daily Slack reporting — so no order slips through the cracks.

Our software analyzes every order hold, attempts automatic address resolution through a logic tree, and pushes a daily Slack digest to your team for any holds that need manual attention.

Order holds are one of the most common — and most overlooked — causes of late shipments. They happen for a variety of reasons: an operator manually holds an order to prevent early fulfillment, a fraud flag is raised on a suspicious transaction, or most commonly, the address submitted with the order fails carrier validation and can't be used to generate a label.

Our software automatically analyzes every address hold and runs it through a logic tree — attempting to correct common issues like missing apartment numbers, invalid zip codes, etc. For the ones that can't be auto-resolved, a daily Slack update is pushed to your brand's channel with the full list of affected order numbers and how long each has been on hold.

NEW

Delivery Scheduling

Reserve a dock appointment before your shipment arrives — faster unloading, faster receiving, fewer surprises.

You, your vendor, or your freight carrier can now book an inbound delivery appointment directly on our website — so trucks arrive when a dock is ready and your inventory gets processed sooner.

Unscheduled inbound deliveries are one of the most common causes of receiving delays. When a carrier shows up without notice, they may wait for an available dock, paperwork may be missing, and our team has no way to staff ahead of time. The result is inventory sitting on the dock instead of on the shelf.

Book your appointment at mountainy.com/schedule-delivery — select your location, delivery type, date, and time window, and you'll receive a confirmation code with downloadable driver instructions in under a minute.

NEW

Shopify Tracking App

Tracking updates and carrier performance

Our private Shopify app bridges the gap between non-preferred carriers and Shopify's delivery status system — so your post-purchase email sequences fire correctly and you have full visibility into how each carrier is performing.

Carriers like UniUni, Amazon Shipping, GOFO, and Passport are not natively recognized by Shopify as tracking providers. When a tracking number is pushed to an order on these carriers, Shopify simply displays "Tracking Added" — no status updates, no movement milestones, nothing. That breaks the entire post-purchase experience. Email sequences that are supposed to fire when a package is "Out for Delivery" or "Delivered" never trigger, leaving customers in the dark and brands unable to use the automations they've built. We built a private Shopify app that polls these carriers directly, fetches real-time delivery statuses, and writes them back to the order — so your post-purchase flows work exactly as intended regardless of which carrier is handling the shipment.

Knowing how your carriers are actually performing is just as important as knowing where your packages are. Our app surfaces carrier-level analytics — carrier distribution, average transit times, and delivery window distribution — broken down by carrier so brands can see exactly what they're getting for what they're paying. Some carriers are meaningfully cheaper than others, but that cost difference doesn't always tell the full story. With this data, brands can make an informed decision about whether the savings from a lower-cost carrier are worth the tradeoff in delivery speed or reliability — instead of operating on gut feel or anecdotal customer complaints.

Warehouse Operations

Three investments, one goal: a warehouse that handles more volume, makes fewer errors, and ships packages smarter.

NEW

Investing in Robotics

A long-term bet on the future of fulfillment

We've added two Ultra robotic picking systems to our facility — a meaningful step toward automation-assisted fulfillment, even as the technology continues to mature.

We recently invested in two Ultra robotic picking systems. We want to be honest about what this means: robotics in fulfillment still has a long way to go, and we're not claiming these robots are replacing our team or transforming our operation overnight. What they are doing is giving us real, hands-on experience with the technology as it evolves.

The Ultra robots are designed for continuous operation within dedicated workstations. They can run 24/7 when required and work alongside our packaging automation equipment to increase throughput while reducing manual touchpoints on specific SKU types.

For us, this investment is about being ready. As robotic picking technology improves — and it will — we want to be the 3PL that already has the infrastructure, the learnings, and the integrations in place. Our clients shouldn't have to wait for their fulfillment partner to catch up.

Expanded

Functional Automation Equipment

Scaling fulfillment reliably

A significant investment in box erecting, poly bagging, bubble mailer bagging, and additional automation equipment — built to help us scale without sacrificing accuracy

Beyond robotics, we've made a significant investment in the functional automation equipment that powers our day-to-day fulfillment operations. This includes more box erecting machines, more poly bagging machines, more bubble mailer bagging machines, and additional specialized machines for different packaging use cases that are being added on an ongoing basis.

The goal here is straightforward: we need to be able to scale fulfillment reliably. Manual packaging processes create bottlenecks during peak periods and introduce more opportunities for error. Automation equipment removes those bottlenecks and keeps throughput consistent regardless of order volume.

This isn't about replacing our team — it's about giving them better tools so they can focus on the work that actually requires human judgment. Equipment handles the repetitive, high-volume tasks. Our team handles the exceptions, the quality checks, and the client-specific requirements that machines can't replicate.

NEW

Sortation Automation

How packages leave the building is changing

The opportunity with sortation isn't just accuracy — it's zone skipping.

Every package that leaves our warehouse now passes through a sortation line. A conveyor feeds outbound parcels into a sorter equipped with an overhead scanner that reads each label and identifies the carrier and destination in real time. The system automatically routes each package to the correct chute — no manual sorting, no human error sending a parcel down the wrong lane.

Today, most 3PLs wait for carriers to pick up at the warehouse. Every carrier sends their own truck, picks up their packages, and inducts them at whatever facility is closest to the warehouse — not closest to the destination. A package leaving our Pennsylvania warehouse headed to Chicago shouldn't be getting inducted in New Jersey first. But when you're relying on carrier pickups, you don't control where it enters the network.

Sortation gives us a different option. When we can sort packages by destination before they leave the building, we can consolidate them onto our own outbound trucks and drive them to where they need to be inducted. One truck heads to Chicago and drops pallets at the Amazon Shipping facility, the UniUni facility, the GOFO facility — whichever carriers are handling those packages. The packages enter the network in Chicago, not New Jersey. They skip the zones they never needed to pass through. And because we're bringing volume directly to the induction point, we have real leverage on rates — not paying for pickups, not subject to minimums.

We invested in sortation because controlling outbound transport is how you actually control transit times and shipping costs. We believe destination-based sortation is going to become one of the defining conversations in fulfillment — and the foundation for how packages move through an increasingly fragmented carrier landscape.

Shipping Carriers

New carrier partnerships that expand your delivery options and reduce your shipping costs.

NEW

Now Offering GOFO

More options, cheaper shipping cost

We've added GOFO to our carrier network — a rapidly expanding last-mile carrier with 70% U.S. address reach and shipping costs that are meaningfully lower than traditional carriers.

We've integrated GOFO as a new carrier option across all Mountainy fulfillment locations. GOFO is a U.S.-founded last-mile logistics provider that currently reaches 70% of U.S. addresses — and is expanding quickly. For brands shipping to regions where GOFO operates, we're seeing average shipping cost reductions of 10–20% compared to other economy carriers.

GOFO is already supported in our Shopify Tracking App, so delivery status updates flow back to your Shopify orders automatically — no gaps in your post-purchase experience. As GOFO continues to expand its coverage footprint, we expect it to become one of the most cost-effective options in our network for a growing share of your shipments.

DHL eCommerce

Highly competitive rates in the 12 oz–2 lb range, with nationwide reach

DHL eCommerce delivers exceptional value for the shipment weights that make up the bulk of most Shopify brands' orders — with coverage across 160 million U.S. addresses.

For brands whose average order weight falls between 12 oz and 2 lbs — which describes the majority of Shopify brands shipping apparel, supplements, beauty, and accessories — DHL eCommerce consistently delivers some of the most competitive rates in our carrier network. This weight range is where many brands see the highest shipping cost per order, and where the savings from the right carrier choice compound fastest at scale.

Beyond pricing, DHL's U.S. coverage is one of the broadest available. With access to over 160 million addresses — spanning dense urban markets, suburban neighborhoods, and remote rural areas — DHL eCommerce ensures your customers can be reached regardless of where they live. That kind of reach, combined with strong rate performance in the most common shipment weight tier, makes DHL a high-value addition to our carrier mix for a wide range of Mountainy clients.

NEW

Loop Subscriptions

Subscription infrastructure as powerful as your growth ambitions

Mountainy has partnered with Loop Subscriptions to give Shopify brands a powerful, flexible subscription platform — so your recurring revenue grows while your fulfillment stays seamless.

Loop is purpose-built for Shopify brands that need subscription infrastructure as powerful as their growth ambitions. With a mobile-first, passwordless customer portal, subscribers can skip, swap, pause, and manage their own addresses — dramatically reducing support tickets and keeping customers in control.

Loop's dunning management auto-retries expired cards with backup payment methods, recovering revenue on autopilot. When a subscriber does try to cancel, Loop deploys mystery rewards and targeted save offers based on their specific cancellation reason — 70% of portal visits that would have ended in a cancel instead result in a skip or pause. Milestone-based streaks and loyalty rewards further gamify the subscription experience, turning repeat orders into a habit.

For Mountainy clients, the connection matters on the fulfillment side too. Clean, predictable subscription order data means our warehouse team can staff and plan accurately — reducing last-minute volume spikes and improving pick accuracy on customized subscription boxes.

NEW

Retail Ready

A direct path into Walmart, Target, Sephora, and 80+ major retailers

Mountainy has partnered with Retail Ready to give Shopify brands a direct path into Walmart, Target, Sephora, and 80+ major retailers — with compliance, EDI, and logistics handled end to end.

Breaking into retail is one of the biggest growth moves a Shopify brand can make — but without the right operational infrastructure, that growth can expose gaps just as fast. Retail Ready automates the parts of retail compliance that historically required dedicated teams and specialist knowledge.

Every purchase order, advance shipping notice, and invoice is automatically formatted to each retailer's exact EDI specification — zero manual document prep, zero rejected POs. GS1-128 barcodes, carton labels, pallet configurations, and inner-pack requirements are handled per retailer automatically. One integration connects your brand to Walmart, Target, Costco, Sephora, ULTA, and 80+ more across big-box, beauty, sporting goods, grocery, and specialty channels.

For Mountainy clients, Retail Ready's LTL and FTL logistics management integrates directly with our warehouse operations. Retail orders are nothing like D2C parcels — Retail Ready handles large-format inbound and outbound movements with carrier coordination, scheduling, and documentation built in, so your team doesn't have to manage two separate fulfillment workflows.

NEW

Zaymo

Interactive emails that let customers act without leaving their inbox

Mountainy has partnered with Zaymo to give Shopify brands the power of interactive emails — allowing customers to buy, review, and manage subscriptions with 1-click, directly inside their inbox.

Zaymo turns email into a fully interactive channel. Customers can add products to upcoming subscription orders, submit reviews, change or delay their next shipping date, and answer preference surveys — all without clicking out to a website. For subscription brands, this removes the single biggest source of friction between a subscriber and a cancellation.

The connection to fulfillment is direct. When Zaymo allows subscribers to adjust or lock in their shipping dates with one click, Mountainy receives clean, predictable order volumes — no sudden spikes, no unexpected backorders. One-click upsells added inside emails sync instantly to our WMS, so our warehouse team receives accurate picking instructions and customized boxes are kitted correctly without shipping delays.

The results across Zaymo's customer base speak for themselves: brands have seen up to 46% more reviews captured, 24–34% reductions in subscriber churn, and 13x ROI on in-email cross-sells. For any Mountainy client running a subscription program, Zaymo is one of the highest-leverage tools available.
